ST. NICOLAS’ CHURCH

Sant'Angelo in Pontano [Mc]
Arch Vermigli Geom Piccinini Geom Milozzi
2005
Dedicated to the patron saint of the town, it is located in the upper part of the town itself, in a panoramic small square adjacent to the Augustinian Convent.
It was built in 13th Century: in the 1700s it was refurbished for the first time.
The church has a series of frescos of Domenico Malpiedi, some paintings which may date back to between the 1600s and 1700s as well as a reknown wood choir.
